5 Ways to get Traffic to your Website

You can use any of the following ways for increasing website traffic. 1. Blogs- You can either do your own blog, or you can use other peoples' blogs for increasing website traffic. With your own blog you can target specific keywords with each title and post. This will help you get some SEO traffic to your site. Be sure to use Wordpress with this idea and the following plugins: All in One SEO and Google Sitemap Generator. With blogs that don't belong to you, you can buy advertising in the form of text links, adsense or leaving contributing comments on the site.
2. Article Marketing- What you can do is take some of the niche keywords and write articles that are specific to each keyword. If you can do a keyword density of 2-4% you should be able to get more traffic from search engines. If you write exceptionally well other webmasters will pick up your content and post it on their own sites. 3. PPC- Pay per click is the fastest way to get traffic to your website. It isn't easy though. PPC can be very difficult, and you can lose a lot of money very fast if you don't do it right. But you can get a lot of traffic this way, so start with a second tier ppc search engine, or very low daily budget on Adwords and start getting traffic to very specific keywords. 4. SEO- Search engine optimization means you fix up your site so that you will get as much traffic from search engines as possible. Basically what you are trying to do is show up in the highest search engine results as you can. Once you are listed relatively high whenever someone searches a term you are optimized for you will come up, and get free traffic. It can be a lot of work to do SEO but if you get some help from experts and use the right tools it is possible. 5. JV's- Joint ventures are a great way to get traffic. Usually this doesn't cost you anything except that you will be giving the affiliates something in return for promoting for you. For instance you might be giving 75% for affiliates who send your promotion to their list. You will only make the 25% but you will also gain access to a list of customers and you will be able to start building your own list. Before you use these steps take the time to research proper keywords for your site. You can use tools like FreeKeywords.Wordtracker.com or the Google Keyword Tool to find keywords for your niche. There are also paid sites that will help you with KEI and more in depth information on each keyword. Even if you only chose one of these ways for increasing website traffic you should be able to get all the traffic you need to really launch your site.
